Independence, Multicultural influences, and a sustainable ethos are at the heart of Burbo. Modernist and artisanal; using texture, print, form and embellishment.

Beautiful handmade dress designs with flowing silhouettes and a professional finish,with multiple ways to wear, have found popularity in independent boutiques.

‘Raw Couture’ items made with a deconstructed cut and primal, unfinished edge. Exposed seams and threads are an ongoing feature. The pieces mix a basic, sometimes 'crude' finish with a multi shape silhouette and wearability.

Upcycled pieces with a 'take away or add on' Punk aesthetic.

Burbo is a self taught designer and stylist from Shropshire, now working in Birmingham UK.

After working in commercial, high street fashion and the music business.
